Dave Skinner Bio
fter a tour in the Navy and 30 years of corporate life, I retired to the Kremmling area to build my dream house and enjoy the mountains of Colorado.
Then, I did some RVing and at one of the RV parks, out of boredom, I took a jewelry making class.
So, for the last 15 years I’ve been all about jewelry made of
sterling silver, copper
with lots of color.
I like trying new things. A few of my latest adventures in jewelry are
elk tooth ivory earrings
, rings and pendants.
I’m also working with a talented leather smith,
, by adding some sterling silver and semi-precious stones to a few of his leather products.
Now I’m currently working on sand casting replicas of a few old buttons….
…my wife found the buttons in her family’s store,
, located here in Kremmling.
Esmiol’s opened in the 1920s and closed in 1999.
Replicating an old design in a piece of jewelry is interesting and rewarding to me.
I hope you enjoy the pieces I make as much as I enjoy making them.
My Lapidary, DAVE ROCKS, is located within the
Gore Range Artisans
where I can be found creating my unique
